How many Petals do I need?

Freeze Dried Petals are the perfect solution to choose between dangerous fresh petals that also stain, and slippery, hard to clean silk petals. Our Preserved Petals are natural roses that look natural and are the # 1 choice for facilities.

There are various amounts of Petals needed for each occasion...see the suggestions below.

One of our boxes contains approximately 12 cups of petals…or 350 individual petals! Each box is made up out of 12 roses…shredded.

• Petal Toss: 10 petals for each Guest = 1 box for every 35 Guests. 15 petals for each Guest = 1 box every 24 Guests.

• Aisle Edges: Each 3 inch wide aisle edge needs 1 cup of petals per foot = 1 box every 12 feet. 25 foot long aisle with 3 inches of petals on each side of the aisle = 4 boxes. 50 foot aisle = 8 boxes and so on.

• Wedding Vow area: 1 – 3 boxes.

• Reception Tables: 3 cups of petals on a 60 inch round table = 4 tables for one box. If you want a fuller look sprinkle 5 cups of Petals on a 60 inch round table = 2 ½ tables for one box.

• Honeymoon Suite: Sprinkle 2 – 6 boxes of Petals on the Wedding Bed, around a protected candle on the dresser and any where you might think it would be pretty and romantic.

• Flower Girl Basket: One-half box of Petals will be plenty then use the remaining Petals on the Guest Book Table.

Your Petals will arrive to you in a clear plastic box that measures 91/2 x 9 ½ x 3 inches perfect to give as a gift or a safe container for storage until it is time to use the Petals.

You are only limited by your imagination....!

Instructions for Use
Preserved Petals are Easy and Fun to Use

Just follow these simple steps:

• Store in a dry room and a dark place. For instance, store your Petals in the packing box that your petals arrived in until you are ready to use them. Not in the refrigerator or freezer!

• When using the Petals for a Toss, open the package (s) 4-5 weeks ahead of time and fill cones or tulle bundles dolling out the proper amount of petals for each guest toss package. When completed, place each guest toss package into a large plastic bag (s) and let out as much extra air as possible (be careful here for cones, cover each cone with clinging saran wrap so the petals won’t fly yet) close the bag tightly and place the entire bag of…lets say 50 cones into a large enough box to store them. Close the box and keep in a dry room until the day before the Wedding or Event, then open the box and the bag to allow moisture in the air to give the petals weight. Close the bag and box to transport the day of the wedding and WALLAH….a fantastic Wedding Toss!

• When using your Petals for aisles or tabletops, open the package (s) the day prior to the event so the Petals will soften in the open air. Close the containers for transporting the day of the Event.

A note about freeze dried Petals…our Petals will not stain carpet or table linens like fresh petals and since they won’t wilt you can decorate hours, even days ahead of time! As long as they stay dry!!!! HOWEVER…do not use petals in the rain, (unless the petals are on the grass down the aisle) melted snow, around spilled beverages, or other wet conditions for the safety of your guests. Freeze Dried Petals re-absorb water when they get wet…then they can stain carpeting, flooring, and linens and can present a slipping hazard.
